This looks great!

The Europa is a two-door sports car that was built by one of Britain’s most iconic sports car manufacturers, Lotus.

First unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, the Europa was built between 2006 and 2010 in very small numbers.

Based on the Lotus Elise, the Europa was designed to be a more mature, grown up sports car with GT characteristics.

Power was derived from a turbocharged 1.8lt inline four cylinder donk which sent its shove to the Europa’s rear wheels via a Getrag six-speed manual transmission.

Thanks to the use of lightweight materials in the Europa’s construction such as an aluminium chassis and composite panels, the car tipped the scales at a mere 995kg.

This lack of weight meant that, combined with the 149kW produced by the blown four-pot, the Europa was no slouch, taking just 5.8 seconds to reach 100km/h from rest.

This particular Europa is a ’07 model and, according to the seller, the vehicle has travelled an original 22,000 kilometres from new.

The seller adds that the vehicle has only had one owner and has always been covered and stored in a garage.

The Europa is $70,000 and anyone interested in this great British sports car can view the full listing here.
