Not your average HSV

The Holden Jackaroo HSV was a limited edition SUV built between 1993 and 1994, and was based off the Isuzu Trooper.

Unlike most HSVs however, the HSV edition of the Jackeroo brought with it no performance upgrades over the standard S model on which it was based.

However, the HSV Jackaroo did come equipped with a limited-slip diff, air-conditioning, redesigned lower body mouldings and a bespoke set of alloy wheels.

Power came from a 3.2lt V6 motor that was good for approximately 130kW (174hp), and this shove was sent to all four wheels via either a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission.

There were just 79 HSV Jackeroos built in their one year of existence, making them quite a rare beast for the most discerning of Iron Lion enthusiasts.

This particular HSV Jackeroo is a ’94 model with the five-speed manual and, according to the seller, it is build number 74 of 79.

The seller adds that the Jackeroo has travelled an original 281,000 kilometres from new and, judging from the photos, the vehicle appears to be in good condition.

The Jackaroo HSV is $5000 and anyone interested in this limited-run SUV can view the full listing here.
