Nothing like a prancing horse

The Ferrari Mondial is a sporting grand tourer produced by arguably the most iconic super car manufacturer on the planet.

Styled by Pininfarina, the Mondial was built between 1980 and 1993 and replaced the outgoing 208 and 308 GT4.

Power came from a range mid-mounted ‘Tipo’ V8 engines with various sizes of displacement that included a 3.0lt, 3.2lt and 3.4lt.

Drive was sent to the rear wheels via five-speed manual transmission, however the final iteration of the Mondial, the Mondial T, was also made available with a clutch-less manual shifter.

While the first iteration of the Italian grand tourer, the Mondial 8, was only made available in a two-door coupe body style, the subsequent models (Quattrovalvole, 3.2 and T) were also produced as a two-door cabriolet.

This particular Mondial is a 1982 Mondial 8 and, according to the seller, the vehicle has travelled a low 39,768 miles from new.

The seller adds that the vehicle has had the same owner for the last 14 years and presents in excellent condition both inside and out.

The Mondial 8 is $69,888 and anyone interested in this gorgeous gold Italian stallion can view the full listing here
