Iconic metal on show

Northern Beaches Muscle Cars will have some famous automotive cast members of the big and small screen on display at their annual show later this year.

One of the stars of the show will surely have to be the DeLorean DMC-12, made famous by the classic movie trilogy, Back to the Future. What’s more, this DeLorean has been painstakingly modified to make it look exactly like the car from the film, flux capacitor and all.

Another auto-celeb attending will be a ‘60s Dodge Charger which has been faithfully recreated to look exactly like the ‘General Lee’ from the hit TV show, The Dukes of Hazzard, complete with orange paintwork and ‘01’ lettering.

The show will also play host to an excellent looking ’57 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible. This isn’t your average ’57 Chevrolet though; this one has had a myriad of modifications made to it. These mods include an LS3 V8 which has been stroked to 7lt, fully re-trimmed interior in bright red leather, custom 5-spoke wheels and enough chrome to blind people.

These are just a few of the excellent cars that will be on show at this fantastic event, which is due to take place at the gorgeous Miramare Gardens in Terrey Hills, NSW on October 22.

What’s more, all money raised from admission and raffle tickets will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Organisation, Pancare.

It’s shaping up to be a great event and if you’re keen on vintage Aussie and American muscle then this show is an absolute must.
