Not your average Monaro

Most people that get out of a VZ Monaro after driving it typically have quite bit to say about the 2-door iron lion, and usually it’s the same sought of sentiment; "lovely grunt", "powerful donk", "god it’s quick", that sort of stuff.

However, from time to time there are those out there, who some may call a bit unhinged, who have something very different to say about driving the Monaro, and it goes along the lines of "Yeah it’s not bad, but it could use double the power".

Double the power, according to the seller, that’s what this Monaro has, 522kW, or 700 horses in the old money. That is an absurd amount of shove, in fact, that’s more than a McLaren 650S, a Ferrari 488 GTB, a Lamborghini Hurucan or a Porsche 911 Turbo S.

How has the seller of this obscene Monaro achieved this tyre melting oomph? By doing what most speed demons do when they want more shove; by slapping on two whopping great turbos.

The Monaro also comes with massive Harrop brakes (probably a good thing considering aforementioned power) and three-piece wheels.

The seller says that all work for these modifications have been carried out by Dynomotive in Baywater, Victoria.

What’s more, this Monaro has a very low 11,500 kilometres on the clock from new, which makes this one of the lowest mileage Monaro’s on the market right now.

The twin-turbo Monaro is $65,000 and any thrill seekers who are interested in this beast can view the full listing here.
