Unique Cars is looking for journos
It's not all about driving chrome bumper cars, but that's part of it.

If you’re reading this, hopefully you’re already into cars. That’s a great start and what we’re looking for is two editorial staff - one junior and the other a little more senior.

The junior role for is someone who (more than likely) is hunting down their first job in publishing.

You need to be able to write, so some training in this area (such as a journalism degree) would be ideal. A portfolio would also impress us. You’re also a digital native with some social media savvy and some experience with video and still photography.

Your main responsibility is feeding the hungry beast that is our website via a content management system, with material from the magazine and some that you will generate.

The job is at Unique Cars magazine, which encompasses the Trade Unique Cars website. It’s part of the country’s foremost automotive publishing group at Bauer Media, that includes Wheels, MOTOR, Street Machine and 4X4 Australia magazines.

This is a full-time role starting immediately, in Melbourne’s south-east.

The more senior role has similar requirements, though we'd expect you to have some magazine experience, with strong subbing and project-management skills.

To apply and make enquiries, email a brief covering letter plus a CV to the Editor via uniquecars@primecreative.com.au
