High Altitude Hot Rod Run

On March 10-12 the Toowoomba Hot Rodders present their High Altitude Rod Run at the Toowoomba Showgrounds.The event includes a mystery run, local run, billy cart derby and other activities, Saturday night themed Under the Sea dinner culminating in Sundays Show 'n' Shine at the Cobb & Co Museum in Lindsay Street. This will be followed by lunch back at the Showgrounds for presentation of trophies. Camping available at the Showgrounds.

Gold Coast Superswap and Show ‘n’ Shine

The Gold Coast Superswap and Show n Shine is being hosted by the Automobile Restorers Association and will be held on Sunday 19th March at the Country Paradise Parklands just 2kms from Nerang (M1 Exit 69) on the Gold Coast. The event is open to all makes and models of cars and commercials.

Rust and Chrome

The Rust and Chrome Car show will be held on the 26th of March 2017 at the Norwell Motorplex. Classic, muscle, chrome bumper and customs pre '78 and classic styled motorcycles welcome.

There is a Show and Shine car show, on tar cruising sessions, 50's styled drag racing sessions, bike cruising and bike drags. Music provided by Memphis Mayhem Radio, A Pin-up Girl contest, food vans, licenced bar, trade stands and merchandise stands.

The idea of the event is that you can bring your car or bike down, compete in the show and shine, and also have a bit of fun driving and even drag with your friends in a safe relaxed venue.

Only car show entrants will be allowed to park within the complex, spectator parking is just adjacent to the venue and is $5 so that will save you from being fined for parking on the street. Rust and Chrome is being brought to you by Aces and eight events, by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts is our motto. We are just a couple of car guys that want to take the FU out of car shows and put the FUN back in.

FIAT Nationals

Since 1964 the Fiat Car Clubs of Australia have held an annual national competition and social gathering to celebrate their passion for the Fiat automobile. This year marks the 53rd Anniversary.

On the 9-12th March 2017 Fiat Car Club members, enthusiasts, and motoring devotees from around Australia will gather at Wakefield Park Raceway for the Fiat Nationals.

The weekend encompasses a variety of competitive and social events that will include a timed sprint, an Autokhana, a Show’n’Shine and Presentation Dinner. Additional social events and visits to local attractions are also planned throughout the weekend.

A vast collection of images and memorabilia highlighting the history of the "Fiat of Italy Cup" competition will be the centre point for past attendees to reminisce and renew old friendships.

Inverell Swap Meet

The Inverell Antique Motor Club NSW are hosting the Inverell Swap Meet on Sunday 12th March 2017 at the Inverell Showgrounds.

Gates open at 6am. Outdoor sites free, undercover sites are $10. Overnight camping sites with power are available for $20 per couple with hot showers. Catering is provided Saturday night and Sunday, breakfast from 6am. All goods welcome, buy, sell or swap. Plenty of sites and ample parking. Entry $5 adults, children under 12 free.

The Old Skool n New Age Auto Show is on the 18th March 2017 at Morphett Vale Football Club.

Jaguar XJC Reunion Tour

The XJC Muster organisers want to advise you of another XJC get together - "A Reunion Tour" in March 2017 in Port Stephens, NSW - culminating with attending the Jaguar National Rally Display Day. We’re hoping for another great XJC turnout.

We’re calling the reunion a ‘tour’ as there are already two groups – one each from SA and VIC planning to come up to NSW, culminating with attendance at the Jaguar National Rally.

The tour will run from 21 to 29 March, and we are hoping for a big display of XJ Coupes at the National Rally Display Day on Saturday 25 March. Planning of timing, route, and accommodation has been finalised. 

It's looking to be a great event with a visit to Bathurst, the Gosford Car Museum and a lovely evening after the National Rally staying at The Hermitage Lodge, Pokolbin. We hope you can join us.

Yarra Glen Show & Shine

The Yarra Glen Swap Meet Show n Shine is run by the Vintage Drivers Club and will be held at the Yarra Glen Racecourse on Sunday 12th March 2017 under lots of shady trees and on green lawns. Enter off Armstrong Avenue, MEL 275 C1.

Northern Classic Cruisers will be organising their 3rd Annual 'N.C.C. On The Bay' on Sunday 12th March 2017, 10am to 3pm at Seaworks, Nelson Place, Williamstown.

The Classic and Rod Club of Victoria Cruze Nites are held over summer and are for chrome bumper and American muscle cars.

Chryslers on the Murray

The 25th Annual Chrysler's On The Murray is hosted by the Albury Wodonga Chrysler Club and is being held on March 17-19th 2017 at Gateway Lakes, Lincoln Causeway, Wodonga, Victoria.

All Chryslers welcome to the largest Chrysler car show in Australia. The 2017 event will be a weekend full of entertainment and activities, seminars, scenic drives, photo shoots, raffles, 'show and shine' and more.

The 4th Annual Vintage, Classic and Custom Car Show is being held on Sunday 26th March 2017 at the Ferny Creek Recreation Reserve.

Kalorama Rally

The 61st Kalorama Rally is being held on Sunday 26th March 2017 kicks off with a mystery tour commencing at the Manhattan Hotel in Ringwood at 9am for a 9.30am start.

This is one of Melbourne's pioneering motoring events and has been running since 1956 and features a vast array of cars from veteran to 1990. An inner circle of vehicles of particular interest will be chosen on the day.

Devenport Motor Show

Established in 2007, this event has grown significantly in size each year since inception. The Show is held at Devonport's Roundhouse Park, Victoria Parade, a wonderful location, on the foreshore of the Mersey River.

The event is open to presenters of all appropriate vehicles, including hot rods, vintage, classic, modern, modified, and motor bikes, we welcome all. Exhibits are judged by a panel and awards are given for various categories, top ten and overall.

Fun competitions are held on the day and prizes will also be won in lucky draws for the public. A good range of food and refreshments is available. Motor industry and related trade displays will be at the show.
​
There are activities for the children, including a vehicle poster colouring in competitions. This great motor enthusiast, club and family day has gained recognition throughout Tasmania as one of the major auto shows. The automotive industry and business is a great financial supporter of this event and money raised is used for Rotary projects.

Hot Rods and Harleys in an invite-only indoor car and bike show. The event will be made up of a unique mix of elite show rods, rat rods, home-built and custom cars. On the bike side, custom Harleys, choppers and fully restored classics will be on show.

Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival

The annual Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival is all about Rock n Roll, Classic Cars, Hot rods, Fashion, Music, Dancing and everything good about the 50's and 60's. The weekend attracts around 40,000 people from all over Australia to join in the atmosphere as the town centre is transformed into all the glory of a bygone 50’s and 60’s era.

There’s a classic car and hot rod 'Show and Shine', over 150 retro markets stalls and food vans, lots of free entertainment, rock n roll dance demonstrations, main stage performances, talent quests, feature bands, fashion parades, best dressed competitions, side show alley and much more. Plus nightly events with lots of great 'rock n roll' and 'rockabilly' dances at local venues. The festival is free to enter and tickets to indoor shows may be purchased through the Kurri Kurri Visitor Information Centre or at the event door.

The Cavendish Campout 2017 hotrods and vintage caravans camping weekend is being held at Cavendish Recreation Reserve on the banks of the Wannon River from Thursday 6th - Monday 10th April.

The Australian Van Nationals will be held on the 13th April to the 17th April 2017 at the Port Fairy Showgrounds. This is a fun event for the whole family. The main show day is Sunday 16th April and it kicks off at 9am and runs until 4pm.

The 2017 Mustang Nationals are being hosted by the Mustang Owners Club of NSW and are being held in Wollongong over Easter from the 14th to 17th April.

Classic and modern Mustangs, Mustang show ‘n’ shine and the concours entrant Display day is being held on Sunday 16th April 2017 with public viewing from 10am to 3pm in WA Lang Park on Marine Drive, Wollongong.

Rock & Roll Rendezvous is a day full of fun and entertainment for rock and rollers of all ages. With hundreds of classic vehicles, music and dancing, children's activities and the Fashions in the Field competition there is something for everyone.

Pontiac Nationals

The Queensland Chapter is proud to announce the Australian Pontiac Nationals has been confirmed for Warwick, Queensland.

The national Pontiac event is back in Queensland in 2017. Pontiacs from all over Australia will be converging on Warwick in the south of the state for the Easter break from Friday April 14 to Monday April 17.

Antique Car Club Anniversary Rally

The Antique Car Club of Albury Wodonga are holding their 50th Anniversary Rally from the 18th till the 22nd May in 2017.

As part of the celebrations they will be holding a five day rally in and around Albury which combines the 2017 Council of Heritage Motor Clubs N.S.W. Annual Rally (limited to 200 Cars) and the National Motoring Heritage Day (Albury-Wodonga) Display combining some 400 cars on the display day.

There will be three speed groups. Eligibility - Heritage vehicles over 30 years old NSW or over 25 years old VIC that are preserved or restored and maintained in as near as possible to how they were manufactured and presented for original sale. Limited to 200 vehicles or 450 persons. Entry closing date 1st April 2017.

On Sunday 21st May 2017 there will be a display and concourse judging day followed by an evening gala presentation at the Albury Entertainment Centre.

Central Coast Heritage Day

The Heritage Day Car Show will see displays of Vintage, Historic and Classic Cars from Local and Regional Car Clubs. 

Lots of Vintage cars will be on display from the 1911 Model T Ford to the immaculate Jaguar E Type coupes alongside nostalgic 1930's to 1950's Buick's, Chrysler's, Chev's, Ford's, Austin 7s, all the British Classics, Holden's of all ages from 1948 to mid-1980's, plus just about everything in-between. 

Owners of these cars will be on hand to have a chat and no doubt they will have some interesting stories. The kids will have fun as well with yummy food stalls and amusement rides to keep them entertained.

Weekend on Wheels

Taree Rescue Squad presents Weekend on Wheels in conjunction with the Manning Valley Cruzers on the 27th and 28th May 2017.

This is a major fundraiser for the Taree Rescue Squad and all cars, bikes, hot rods, dragsters, street machines are welcome. Emergence service display, Big Dog, entertainment, food and live bands. $3 per person, $6 family.

Classics by the Coast

Classics by the Coast for 2017 is being held on Sunday the 28th May at Bell Park and is run by the All Classic Motor Club of Central Queensland Inc. There will be on display a wide range of classic and vintage vehicles, hot rods, commercial vehicles and motor cycles for the public’s viewing pleasure. Monies raised for local charity and community groups. 

The event attracts 300+ classic cars and motor bikes with thousands of people coming to enjoy the picnic atmosphere. In addition, there will be plenty of food and drink vendors along with our generous sponsors displaying their products and services.

We encourage all our visitors to get in the spirit of the event, put on your style clothes, be it the era of your vehicle, vintage, pin up, rock-a-billy or punk and come along for a great day out.

Wintersun 2.0
Wintersun 2.0 is being held at the Murwillumbah Showgrounds on the 2nd to 4th June 2017 and is an automotive, music, art, culture and food festival for the Tweed and features a chrome bumper and special interest car and bike show.

Kustom Kulture Art and Lifestyle Show open Saturday and Sunday with sculpture, carving, tattoo flash, pinstriping, fine art, photography, carving and pin striping demonstrations throughout the weekend. Presentations Sunday will include "Top 10" Car show trophy presentation, Art prize presentation, Art Auction and Miss Wintersun Pin Up Contest.

Queensland Hot Rod Show

The Queensland Hot Rod Show stepped up big time in 2016, with extra floor space, lots of support and a really good vibe.

In 2017, the Show will be back again, but will be moving from its traditional May time-slot, to June. Show manager Katrina Martin stated that the date change is prompted by a large truck show which takes up the Convention Centre at Southbank for much of May. So lock in the new dates of June 3-4, 2017.

Cooly Rocks On

Over the past six years, Cooly Rocks On has evolved to become Australia’s largest rock’n’roll and nostalgia festival and a signature event on Queensland and Australia’s event calendar. There are some exciting changes in the works for Cooly Rocks On 2017. First and foremost this year’s event will be a FREE event! We have listened to your comments and feedback and are currently working hard to enhance the entertainment with no ticketed events by the festival. Everyone’s favourite events will be back including the Poodle Parade, Retro Markets, Dance Championships, Miss Cooly Rocks On and the signature Street Parade. Car cruises and Show ‘n Shines will continue to be the highlight of the weekend’s activities, and will occur across the Saturday and Sunday.

Top End Rumble
Top End Rumble is to be a pre ’65 run and the the official start is the 13th June 2017 at the Katherine Showgrounds.

Our fantastic "as far as the eye can see" 300km rod run will start straight after breakfast on the 14th and take us to our venue in Darwin, The Sage Club Tropical Resort, where 10 days of exploring, adventure, cars and fun will begin. A gate separates the caravan park from the resort so those with caravans are right there at the venue also.

We are a participating part of the Darwin Supercar weekend. The days are free for you to use as you please discovering the Top End and surrounds, the evenings we will gather together and fill with rodding fun, displays, cruise night, movies and dancing, grasskhana, rocker cover racing.

Mopar Sunday
Mopar Sunday 2017 will now be held July 23rd and will feature a Show n Shine, Dyno shootout, drag racing and swap meet. Once you have paid your spectator entry fee, its free to have you car displayed and judged in the 'Show and Shine'. We would love to have as many Mopars parked together for the 'Show n Shine'. So park your chariot (show quality or not) with the others adjacent to the start line on the grassed area.

The 2017 Original Gold Coast Swap will be held on Sunday 23rd July at the Mudgeerada Showgrounds. Veteran, vintage, classic cars and parts, automobilia, memorabilia, model cars, antiques, collectables, Australiana.

Outdoor sites $10, including driver (no booking required). Full catering service. Saturday afternoon set-up available 2pm to 5pm. Camping available Saturday night - $15 extra includes amenities and limited powered sites.

Gold Coast Car Show
The 8th Annual Gold Coast Car Show kicks off Saturday 12 August 3pm-8pm and Sunday 13 August 7am-3pm. Hundreds of cars, motorbikes and trucks will converge on the grounds for a great day to inspire, admire and excite car enthusiasts and spectators of all ages.

Public admission Saturday evening $10, kids under 12 free. Show car entry Saturday $10 includes passengers and judging. Special trophies awarded on this night for retro vehicles - kombis, bugs, panel vans and hot rods.

Sunday public entry from 7am - 3pm adults $15, seniors $10, child 13-17 $10, kids under 12 free accompanied by a paying adult. Show vehicles only $15 - pay on entry. To be judged on the day, just register your vehicle at the information booth.

Its on again! It was Huge for our 1st one, well over 100 stalls, our 2nd Swap Meet will be event bigger. Kustoms of Australia 2nd Annual Swap Meet will be held again at the Yatala Drive-In which is located at 100 Stapylton-Jacobs Well Rd, Stapylton Queensland, only 30 minutes drive south of Brisbane or 30 minutes drive north from Surfers Paradise.

No Bric-a-Brac or Craftwork's or Household BS, lots of feedback from the 1st one where none of that Bric-a-Brac stuff was present, only car and bike related items ONLY, we'd love more bike items this time and we are opening at 5am for both stall holders and the public, so you can get in there and find those hard to get items for a bargain price.

Killer Rides 2
Killer Rides #2 live show will be held August 12/13 inside the Illawarra Indoor Hockey Centre at Unanderra (south of Wollongong).

Previously known as the Hot Car Titles, Killer Rides Live will showcase a selection of show cars, tough street cars and competition cars - all with one common theme, they are all killer rides. As entry into the show is by invitation only, you can rest assured that the cars on display aren't the cars you'll see on a regular basis. 

There will also be a huge array of traders offering show specials along with a fully stocked canteen for when you feel like a bite to eat or a drink - without breaking the budget.

Chromefest 
Join us at The Entrance on the Central Coast NSW for ChromeFest which is now in its 10th exciting year next year. Chromefest is a 3 day event which will showcase live Rock and Roll entertainment, Classic American Auto’s and Hot Rods, Dance Groups and Dance displays, Street Cruises plus over 70 Market Stalls.

ChromeFest organisers are expecting thousands of people to flock to The Entrance during the 3 day event which will be held on Friday 27th October until Sunday 29th October, so come along and enjoy this free event in Memorial Park and throughout the streets of The Entrance.

Friday the day starts at 12noon with the many retro stalls and the show cars return from their cruise to enter the event showcasing their cars, also there will be live music, Dj’s and dancing right through till 7pm.

Saturday is a full day from 9am till 7pm with three live bands, the popular Sydney Swing Kats, retro and car related stalls, DJ’s, dancing, Pin Up Doll Australia ladies on stage and the Twilight Cruise.

On Sunday the weekend continues so don’t miss the massive ‘Show and Shine’ Car Show from 9am, with over 500 cars expected to be on display throughout town.

All Ford Day
The All Ford Day Show is being held on the 5th November 2017 at Bassendean Oval and entry will be from the east via Old Perth Road only.

The show is open to only Ford Motor vehicles running Ford mechanicals. It is a great day out with most Ford clubs in the Perth region having cars on display and there is a large collection of non-club vehicles as well. Entrants drive in from Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Albany, Bunbury and other country areas just to put their cars on show for the West Aussie public to enjoy.

You will find vehicles from the very early days of Ford right through to the latest offerings. There are cars from all corners of the globe and they range from standard street cars to custom street machines, hot rods. Fully restored, partiially restored and race cars.

If you love Fords you will find something of interest at the All Ford Day Show.
