Last chance to snap up this cheap Land Rover fixer

Okay, she’s a little worse for wear, but this 1979 Land Rover 4WD has plenty of potential. It’s a Series III manual wagon model that has come up for sale on graysonline.com. The dash indicates 33,367km, but we reckon that sounds a bit optimistic.

The Western Australian car looks like it’s had a pretty rough life; the paintwork is knackered, the interior is cactus, it comes with no key or service history and it doesn’t turn over. Are you convinced yet? Well despite its condition, this car could present great value. They’re a cool thing, and thanks to their barebones design, rarely take a whole lot to get back on their feet.

The auction finishes at 9:00pm on Monday 7 November, so if you’re brave enough to take on a project Landy, chuck a bid in at the link below.
