120+ chrome bumper Rovers on the block

One of the oddest auctions we've seen for a while could easily impact Rover prices.

120+ chrome bumper Rovers on the block
Massses of Rovers are looking for new homes.

An extraordinary collection of Rover cars - mostly P4, P5, P6 and 3500 generations, are on the block on November 18 in Queanbeyan, NSW.

It would comfortably be the biggest sale of this marque in decades and has the potential - given all the cars are being released at once - to push down the market value for the brand for some time to come.

There are also two 1930s Cadillacs for sale, plus a host of parts and bodies for various models and marques.

The Rover listing includes machines in various states of repair from running and complete to needing a resto. We'll be very curious to see how this one goes.

We would suggest online bidders look carefully at the terms for funding the bids and check whether or not there are sufficient local towing or transport resources to cope with what is likely to be a spike in demand with this auction.
