$80k for a Holden WB ute?!

John and Scott McLachlan's Holden WB ute was a Summernats-storming winner back in 1989 and it's now looking for a new home

Okay so a cool $80,000 for a humble Holden WB ute may seem like a big ask, and it is. Very big.

But the owners of the car that has just popped up for sale on Trade Unique Cars online have some justification for the steep price.

This spectacular machine won Top Judged Street Machine at Summernats 27 years ago and is still in immaculate condition. In fact it recently featured in Street Machine magazine (July 2016) and you can read about it here on Street Machine website.

The beautifully-constructed machine is a little understated and you won’t fully appreciate the build until you start to look closely at the myriad detail.
