The Morris Minor has been a part of our automotive landscape for decades
Oldest by far of the cars in our Starter Classics selection, the Morris Minor earns its spot for a range of reasons. The shape originated almost 80 years ago yet remains instantly recognisable to enthusiasts.
The Minor is roomy for its size, simple to service and later versions can manage 100km/h on the highway.

Now that is a sunroof
The first Minors used side-valve engines, with overhead valves arriving in 1952. Some owners have modernised their cars by slipping a more modern Datsun or Toyota motor under the bonnet and attaching a five-speed gearbox, but those changes don’t drastically affect values.
Virtually every Minor in the market will have been restored, however the work could feasibly have been done decades ago and buyers may need to spend some money.
