Mercedes-Benz SL/SLK/CLK 1990-2006 market review
Plenty of bargains here, beginning with some former high-flyers that have fallen on hard times.
When new the supercharged SLK230 Roadster attracted queues of buyers and inflated used car prices. Today an excellent SLK will cost $12,000 while the fixed roof CLK320 is more practical and costs just a little more.

Up at the pricey end of the market an R129 500SL in decent order will cost $30-35,000.
The V12-powered 600SL is scarce and priced $20,000 higher. AMGs in this age bracket don’t need to be expensive either and $20-25,000 buys a CLK55 that’s done around 200,000km.
