Mazda RX-7 Series 6-8/RX-8/Cosmo market review from our 2020 Japanese Classic & Performance Car Guide
Mazda continually claims that plans for a new rotary model exist, however at present anyone who owns an RX-8 or late-series RX-7 can be fairly confident that their cars are the last of a unique breed.
The Series 6 RX-7 released in 1992 was a very different car to earlier models and, with prices generally below $35,000, remains cheap.

Type 7-8 cars in excellent condition from Japan reflect world market demand and prices are climbing.
Type A Spirit Rs of which just 1500 made have hit $60,000 and look to be headed for $100,000.

The only 20B Cosmo seen was priced higher than normal for this model. RX8s offer decent performance for less than $12,000.
