For the past four years, the folks behind SMSC have been holding monthly cars and coffee-style ‘Machines and Macchiato’ events; but are taking all they’ve learned and putting on a massive two-day automotive festival, with all proceeds being donated to the Bear Cottage and Cure Brain Cancer charities.
It’s a family friendly event, with the Saturday playing host to food trucks, live band, bar, kids’ amusement rides & free face painting; and culminating a drive-in/open air cinema on the Saturday evening!
The Sunday sees a massive Show N Shine (with trophies), swap meet, a special vehicle display, Shannons’ Ultimate Ride Experience, ‘Tent Talk’ panels and workshops, along with a slot car track, billy cart derby, face painting and a superhero dress-up competition for the kids. The Sunday closes the show with a free ‘Super Cruz’; allowing car enthusiasts to meet up and drive, at around six different locations across Sydney!
It’s shaping up to be a big weekend, with plenty to see and do for the whole family.
“We want to create a fun and engaging experience for every” says the organisers.
“Together we can make a difference… to the real people our amazing charities support”.
So get on down to St. Ives showground November 23 and 24 for what’s looking to be an action-packed weekend!
