JB embarks on a rather unusual back-to-back comparison of two cars that were sold by different manufacturers, look very dissimilar and yet despite this, were built alongside one another.
That’s right, the Series 2 Lotus Elise and the Opel Speedster, also known as the Vauxhall VX220, were both built in Lotus’ production facility in Hethel, and both are based off the same platform.
Bowe thoroughly enjoyed both of them, and was keen to spot the differences between these two pure sports cars.
