‘Lambrecht Chevrolets’ up for auction at VanDerBrink’s

Over 500 classic American cars from the former Lambrecht Chevrolet dealership's unsold inventory will go under the hammer at VanDerBrink Auctions

‘Lambrecht Chevrolet Auction’

The team at VanDerBrink Auctions are probably still in a state of disbelief as a mother lode of survivor Chevys was consigned to them from an old dealership in Pierce, Nebraska, Canada.

Dealership owners Ray and Mildred Lambrecht, now in their 90s, have decided to sell up their former inventory, which has been stagnant since the Lambrecht Chevrolet Company’s doors were last closed some 17 years ago.

Unbelievably, that inventory amounts to over 500 cars, with some 50 examples being essentially new stock, showing under 10 indicated miles on their odometers.

Originally established in 1946 the lot list spans generations, showcasing the wonderful story of Chevrolet as it evolved over these years. Hardtop Impalas, 1950s Bel Airs, an 1978 Indy Pace Car Corvette with four indicated miles, a 1969 Chevelle SS 396 and several Corvairs highlight the auction list, to be held on-site over two days commencing on 28 September. Interstingly, there’s a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 and the occasional F100 also up for grabs.
