Jim Richards is one of New Zealand’s greatest drivers who could punt anything successfully. He made a name for himself in the mid-1970s moving to Aus with his Sidchrome Mustang. Brocky’s HDT specced Commodores combined with his endearing personality, easily made him Holden’s numero uno salesman. A signature of his HDT road cars were their Aero wheels. They were available in satin silver and when the Blue Meanie came along, it was adorned with white wheels and looked amazing.
