Jaguar Sports 1949-1975 – 2021 Market Review

2021 Market Review - Jaguar Sports 1949-1975

Jaguar sports cars are among indicators used by analysts to predict classic market movement and at present they are sending mixed messages. Asking prices for most models remain untenably high and at odds with confirmed sales.

An excellent E-Type Roadster made $271,000 at auction, or $100,000 less than the money being sought for some similar cars. V12 coupes at $160K seem to have hit the proverbial wall but Roadsters at $200,000 have some growth left. Older XKs remain generally cheaper than E Types and sales have been achieved in the $100-125,000 range.

Best of the ‘chassis’ XKs are very early 120s or the triple-carb XK150S which both can better $200,000.
