Strong bidding points to healthy local classic market
Tonight’s Shannons Spring Sydney auction proved there is plenty of interest in classic cars, regardless of country of origin. It was a good-humoured event, with talented auctioneering and strong results.
Some highlights:
The glamour lot – the survivor HT GTS Monaro – scored $225,000;
An LJ GTR XU-1 pulled $86,000;
A Fiat Multipla scored $62,000;
