2023 Market Review - HSV Senator/Grange 1992-2011
Let us look first at the bewildering Grange range. These are cars that in the late-1990s were priced $8000 above a GTS and delivered more power (250kW against 220kW) yet today they sell for half or even less than GTS money.
Anyone who can’t find value there needs an eye test. Senators across the board do a little better, with early cars worth $35-40,000 and models from the early 2000s at similar money.
That leaves the ultra-desirable VX Senator 300, which when new cost almost $100,000 and sold only as a six-speed manual. These, with a claimed total of 134 made, are very collectable and at $90,000 look undervalued.
Senator VQ-VT $45,780 [17]
Senator VTII-VYII $43,200 [17]
VX-VXII Senator 300/SV300 $91,430 [11]
Senator Z $41,665 [6]
Senator E 2006-2011 $50,095 [28]
Grange 1996-2000 $24,500 [4]
Grange 2001-2005 $38,695 [12]
Grange 2006-2011 $38,925 [14]
