HSV Coupe/W427 (2001-2009) – 2020 Market Review

2020 Market Review: HSV Coupe/W427 2001-2009

Lots of movement has occurred with more to come in the market for Australia’s last truly significant performance cars. In standard form, Holden’s V2 Monaro is doing OK but those cars haven’t matched the growth enjoyed by HSV versions.

GTS Coupes have made significant gains over the more common GTO, however these cars need to be exceptional to justify prices above $120,000.

| Buyer’s Guide: HSV Coupe 4

Only 137 of the extraordinary W427 sedan were built and they warrant the same levels of collector reverence as the Phase 3 Falcon or A9X Hatch.

| Road test: HSV W427

Even fewer (132) of the all-wheel drive Coupe 4 were made and these cars at $100,000 offer exceptional value and growth potential.

GTO $76,975 [16]

GTS Coupe $102,695 [11]

Coupe 4 $105,995 [3]

W427 2008-09 $139,995 [2]
