HSV Clubsport/Maloo VN-E – 2020 Market Review

HSV Clubsport/Maloo VN-E market review 2020

Early Clubsports remain explicably scarce [fewer than 1000 VN-VPs were made] and inexplicably cheap. These cars now cost around the same as a basic SS Commodore, although they do remain ahead of VR-Z versions.

Pick of these cars for frequent use would be a VTII-Z model with the 5.7 or 6.0-litre imported V8s, uprated trim, transmission and wheel/tyre packages. In the same price bracket you might also find HSV oddities such as the VP Sport wagon (48 produced) and equally rare six-cylinder Nitron.

Maloo utilities took years to generate buyer interest and slow sales have ensured that anything pre-VU is scarce.

Values are slowly climbing though and $35,000 is possible for an excellent pre-1999 Maloo.

VN-VP Clubsport $30,000 [3]

VR-VT Clubsport $25,845 [10]

VTII-Z Clubsport $21,865 [35]

Clubsport E 2006-08 $35,690 [18]

VG-VS Maloo $25,525 [4]

VU-Y Maloo $29,665 [8]

Z Maloo $41,830 [9]

Maloo E 2006-08 $39,895 [11]
