2. Vintage HDT stubby cooler
Cheers Brocky. Here is a throwback to 1981 and the early days of Peter Brock and his ownership of the Holden Dealer Team that produced, magical Commodore road cars and super successful touring cars, that captured him a handful of Bathurst wins. The durable stubby cooler is the best way to keep a beer cold and frothy and is finished in the retro colours, style and logo of HDT Special Vehicles.
3. Ted’s tee
Holden had killed off the much-loved Kingswood for the smaller Commodore six months before Ross Higgins starred as Ted Bullpit in Channel 7’s comedy Kingswood Country. A show that ran for nearly five years. It was memorable for its famous lines uttered by Bullpit including “Not The Kingswood” along with, “I’ve just glad wrapped the aerial”, and, “Leave your money on the fridge”. So if you loved the show, let everyone know with one of these tee shirts from Shamrock shirts.
4. Mighty models
The sportiest KE model Ford Laser was the TX3. It put out just 62kW but was feather light so it could hit 100km/h in under six seconds. Now it has been shrunk by Trax models, finished in Monza Red and is at Topgear.
In 2014 John Bowe coaxed the FPV GTF Falcon to a stunning 297km/h on the NT’s Stuart Highway thanks to Unique Cars. This scale model of the mighty Ford is endorsed by JB. But only 500 exist.
