Forza Horizon 3 features iconic Aussie cars and local scenery
The upcoming Forza Horizon 3 digital car chase game from Microsoft is featuring scenery from Australia, including the iconic Great Ocean Road, plus a several locally-built cars.
“When we choose a location for a Horizon game, it’s not just to provide a backdrop for the player,” said creative director Ralph Fulton.
“We want you to feel immersed in the location, like you’re actually there on a dream holiday.
“While we’ve gone to great lengths to authentically recreate the locations featured in the game, we also want to reflect Australia’s unique car scene.”
High end utes from HSV and FPV feature, as does a 1951 Holden, while for many, the highlight will be the 1974 HQ Sandman panelvan.
A Torana A9X and 2014 HSV GTS are also expected to join the virtual garage.
The game is due for launch on September 27 – follow this link to the home page.
