Holden EJ-EH – 2021 Market Review

Holden EJ-EH

In the space of 31 months these Holden models added 412,000 cars to the brand’s production total and ensured its dominance of the Australian market. With 256,000 sold and lots of people still loving them, it’s no surprise that so many EHs survive or that values continue to increase.

However, it is the EJ that’s turning into a surprise packet, with growing numbers of excellent cars available and $25-30,000 possible. That money will buy an EH in average condition, with exceptional Specials reaching $50,000 and outstanding Premiers making $70,000.

The EJ Premier which came only as a sedan was looking endangered but recent offerings have included quality restorations plus a couple of cheaper cars awaiting rescue. A tidy EJ made $30,000 at auction.
