Slick-looking sedan has all the 'right' spec
If you’re a Commodore fan, this lightly-modified VK is running a very desirable spec, with the seller saying it is in fact a police set-up for the time – back in 1985.
That means it’s running the premium 4.9lt V8, four-speed M21 manual transmission, plus a Salisbury limited-slip differential. In its day, this would have been a quick car.
It seems the VK has a known history – always a bonus.
The owner says the engine had some mild upgrades back in the 1990s, while the car has also been fitted with an HDT-style body kit and Simmons wheels. That’s all period gear.
Currently on club plates, it’s located in Victoria and is being offered at $45,000.
