Holden Commodore SS/Monaro 1989-2010 – 2021 Market Review

2021 Market Review - Holden Commodore SS/Monaro 1989-2010

What a difference two doors and a couple of years can make. Not long ago, only the most exceptional of VN-VP SS Commodores would approach $20,000 but today you are lucky to find a ‘project’ for that money.

Other SS Commodores haven’t moved much, but once all the early ones get snapped up, interest will turn to well-kept VR-VT models. Early SS versions of the VE remain a little dearer than probably they should be.

Then we look at V2 Monaros and get a huge shock because these cars have followed the lead of earlier namesakes and put on a price bonanza for owners. They now feel very confident to ask $60 -80,000 for early CV8s and up to $100K if they have a low-kilometre CV8-Z.

VN/VP SS $38,270 [11]

VR-VT SS $19,140 [18]

VTII-Z SS $16,430 [38]

VE SS 2006-10 $25,320 [29]

Monaro CV8 $60,385 [32]

Monaro CV8-Z $75,510 [29]
