Shannons is offering a tempting incentive for would-be insurance clients: A prize draw that includes an 11-day trip to the UK for the Goodwood Revival, which runs September 8-10.
The revival is run three weeks after the Festival of Speed and is a more relaxed event. A twist is everyone who attends is asked to dress up in period gear, ideally from the 40s, 50s and 60s.
Much of the attraction is three days of racing for historic cars and motorcycles, plus a modest air show.
It’s an event with an atmosphere like no other and should be experienced at least once in your life.
This year the Revival, which has run since 1998, highlights the work of Carroll Shelby, including some of the iconic cars he helped bring to life, such as the AC Cobra and Ford GT40.
The main prize in the draw includes the trip and $5000 spending money (or $10k if you’re a Shannons club member). Plus, there is an Indian Scout Bobber motorcycle on offer! The latter is worth around $24,000.
