Classic Outback Trial 2016
Mother Nature threw everything at the 2016 Classic Outback Trial, with the opening stages cancelled due to Outback hail, floods and track debris. With ten of the 33 stages cancelled, the organisers did a stellar job getting the show on the road, and the latter half of the race more than delivered, with Andrew Travis’ 350Z-engined Nissan Gazelle eventually coming good, beating the Crane/Anderson Peugeot 504 into second and Travis’ winning car in the last event, the #27 Datsun 1600, this time driven by Kerr and Cole securing the final podium position.
