2021 Market Review - Ford Falcon GT-HO/XB Goss/XC Cobra

Look at the numbers below and just one seems truly excessive. Even at more than $900,000 though, the Phase III figure was restricted due to a couple of cars that had avoided the auction room furore.

One was a ‘rebody’ on offer at less than $500,000; a car which could be representative of more than a few Phase III ‘survivors’. Our sample also included some decent but unexceptional Phase 1 and II cars with a top selling price of $373,500.

Phase IIs of exceptional quality have previously realised $500,000 and we wait with interest for another like it to appear. Availability of XC Cobras was scant and lacked any of the ‘Bathurst’ cars that now would almost certainly soar past $500K.

The Goss Specials offered were best described as ‘ordinary’.
