2021 Market Review - Ford 1959-1989
British Fords once dominated local small/medium sales, but numbers have dwindled.
A 105E Anglia made close to $30,000 when offered at auction and there is growing interest in early Escorts. An ultra-desirable Twin-Cam sold for $100,000 and helped boost demand for basic 1.3-litre models. Mark 1 and 2 Cortinas should be easier to find than they currently are and scarcity is helping prices climb towards $20,000.
GT Cortinas at around $40,000 are likely to stay high, while the $70K reached at auction by a couple of good Capri V6s will influence that market as well. Mark 2 and 3 Zephyrs offer interesting alternatives to the local Falcon at similar values.
