Australia’s only 750 Monza was the cover car of our Ferrari 60th Anniversary special issue (#277).
Shot under lights in a special display area at the Classic Adelaide, Ferrari’s first, and last, four-cylinder sports car is a stark contrast to the better-known V8 and V12 models from the Maranello stable.

Ferrari’s four-cylinder sports cars, including the lightweight, aluminium-bodied 750, were built in limited numbers in the early-‘50s to compete in the World Sportscar Championship… and succeeded in winning the inaugural title.
Australia’s 750 is an early, ex-factory team car that is believed to have been raced by Mike Hawthorn and Phil Hill, amongst others, recording several important victories.
