Calleja Corvette C2 Racer

John Bowe and Joe Calleja are heading off to race this beautiful 1965 Corvette C2 in what is arguably the most prestigious historic car racing event in Europe, the Goodwood Revival. "The ultimate historical car race," says Bowe.

The event they are competing in is the invitation-only Royal Auto Club Tourist Trophy (TT), but before the Vette is shipped halfway around the world, there was a chance for a final shakedown at Winton.  Joe tells us about some of the history of the car, including its racing pedigree and previous Goodwood appearances, where it was raced by the late Peter Brock.

With even fewer modern mods than his all-conquering TCM Mustang Sally, JB says of the C2, "These old cars are really different to drive."

To get an idea of what JB and Joe face at Goodwood check out this clip from the 2014 Tourist Trophy.
