In the early eighties, David Dann was part of the adrenaline-charged drag racing scene at Melbourne's Calder Park and his '65 Pontiac Tempest was a force to be reckoned with. Thirty years later, nostalgia got the better of him and he wanted the Tempest back.

Rekindling the motoring obsession of his youth, David found his old drag racer unchanged and still in its original warpaint.

"I finally got my old car back, it's every car lover's dream!" he says.
