Ford fans however really are spoilt for choice with this auction, with over two dozen excellent Blue Oval models up for grabs.
Here are our favourite Ford picks:
When was the last time you saw one these? We’re guessing it’s been quite a while. This is truly one of greats of the motoring world and, in its day, the Lotus Escort GT was a proper giant-killer of a car. This particular GT looks to be in exceptional condition and, according to Lloyds, the car has had a complete rebuild and was last registered in 1998.
How good does this Look?! Lloyds say this very pretty, matching numbers GTL has only had two owners from new and comes with an accompanying letter of authenticity from Ford Australia. Built in Broadmeadows, this Cortina was first sold in Mackay, Qld and, judging from the photos, appears to be in very good condition both inside and out.
1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Talk about an icon of American Muscle! This factory Lime Gold ’67 Mustang GT500 properly looks the business and, according to Lloyds, it has been fully restored and is in concourse condition. What’s more is that Carroll Shelby himself has signed the dash and it even comes equipped with air conditioning and power steering.
Last but not least is this menacing looking Race Red 2016 Ford Mustang. This isn’t just any old ‘Stang however, this is a GT500 by Rusty French Racing, which means this red brute has been breathed on to sound and drive better thanks to a new exhaust system and suspension set-up. The winning bidder of this vehicle will also receive two free passes to a round of the Australian Touring Car Masters to meet the Rusty French Racing team.
