It seems like an awful lot of chaff for an old Fiat, but what gives it value is the name on the ownership papers: Tom Hanks.
Yep, the actor who acquired the car in 2017 and had it repainted for its use in the film The Post.
It was painted again as part of a resto that was to include a replacement driveline, but never happened.
Hanks put the car up for sale, with no reserve, and proceeds going to Southern California Public Radio.
Sold through Bring a Trailer for Au$35,000.
