Big bucks and Ford usuallly means GTs and GTHOs.

But more Henrys are starting to attract serious wedge, like this deep blue 1976 Falcon XB sedan with 153,000 kilometres showing on the odometer.

Under its nostriled GS bonnet lies a V8 that is hooked onto an auto gearbox. This original and tidy XB also features power steering, air con and enhancing its appeal, 12-slot rims with hubcaps, personalised plates and fluffy dice!

1999 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version 5

Sold: $54,000

It’s hard to believe Suby’s WRX has been with us for so long. Based on the humble Impreza sedan, the all-conquering REX enjoys a huge following to this day. Its most recognisable and sought colour scheme is the blue and gold of the world rally cars made famous by the late Colin McRae.

Only 399 of the flagship two-door STI models ever made it to Australia, making them a rare sight and keenly sought. This winged Japanese warrior re-set the boundaries for the word performance, and punches out an attention getting 206kW; good for zero-100km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Imprezive!

1961 Jaguar E-Type

Passed In

Jaguar -etype

This series 1 ‘flat floor’ Jaguar E-Type was the 100th ever made. At the time even Enzo Ferrari hailed it the most beautiful car in the world. This car with 16,643 miles on the clock, has been with the one family for the past 43 years.

According to the Jaguar Heritage Trust, when new, it had a pearl grey exterior and red interior and wire wheels. An earlier restoration included a change of colour to Indigo Blue.

The EH Holden ushered in two new engines; the bigger 149ci and 179ci red motors, which replaced the trusty but ageing grey motor, from the original FX.

This example has the more powerful engine attached to a three-on-the-tree manual box. It features many NASCO accessories including rear Venetian blinds, wind deflectors, door plate protectors, dress rims and a period Air Chief radio.

Nicely presented, this EH Special wagon, with 51,000 miles on the clock has been with its current owner for over 10 years with a service history dating back to 2004. It is being auctioned with no reserve.
