A massive auction and a very nice collection of classic Falcons bid a final farewell to local production

Some very famous cars and a few famous faces were among the crowd bidding a final farewell to local Ford Falcon production at a special event at Avalon Airport (Vic) last Saturday.

Without question, the highlight was the auction of four cars for a good cause, including number 500/500 Falcon Sprint. It was expected to fetch big dollars, and did - $122,000.
