The Victorian Historic Racing Register’s Phillip Island Classic Festival of Motorsport is on again this weekend, March 7-9 and says for its 25th anniversary year, there will be 25 per cent more racing.

With practice and qualifying scheduled for Friday, the VHRR has extended the circuit program to encompass a record 44 events over both Saturday 8 March and Sunday 9 March.

As well as the expected 500 Historic racing, Sports and Touring cars lined up for the event programme, visit the "Shannons Walk" area where a record number of car club vehicles will be on display, plus special vehicles in the Expo Centre opposite Gardner straight.
