Ferrari fans will get a treat this weekend as the Australian Grand Prix Association announced a special pre-GP race promotion at Piazza Italia in Carlton across the weekend.

The Formula 1 Ferrari Celebration will feature a Ferrari F138 F1 as the main attraction. The F138 chassis was named to represent the 2013 racing year and also marked the final season that Formula One would use V8 engines.

Supporting the F1 car will be a Ferrari car display and of course, all ‘Little Italy’ has to offer. Official Ferrari merchandise will be available so fans can get into the Scuderia Ferrari livery when the F1 race comes to town.

So Viva Italia in the lead-up to this year’s Melbourne F1 Grand Prix on Sunday 16 March.

The Formula 1 Ferrari Celebration:

Where: Piazza Italia, Lygon Street, Carlton

When: Sat 1 March: 12-9pm

           Sun 2 March: 10-5pm
