Italian Auto Icons display

italian-auto-icons.jpgClassic and modern Italian cars and motorcycles - a very popular annual event in the heart of the famous restaurant district in Carlton.

Time is 10.00am-3.00pm in Lygon St, Carlton between Faraday & Elgin Streets. Entry is free.

This year’s feature is a combined tribute to Maseratis, (in particular the Maserati 250F) Reg Hunt’s success with his Maserati 250 F and the 1956 Australian Grand Prix.

Isabella & Marcus Show

Held at Bicentennial Park, Chelsea (Melb), this is a massive annual show. In aid of a childrens brain cancer cause.

Minis on the Murray Muster

This year’s event includes runs, meetings and more, with a show on the Sunday.

Chryslers on the Murray

All Chryslers welcome to the largest Chrysler car show in Australia. The 2019 event will be a weekend full of entertainment and activities, seminars, scenic drives, photo shoots, raffles, ‘show and shine’ and more.

Mercedes-Benz Concours

Located at the deaf children facility, 527 St Kilda Rd Melbourne. Gold coin donations to the cause.A good way to see some stunning Benzes.

Military Vehicle Gathering

Part of a larger ‘swim-in’ event, this gathering in Corowa lays claim to be the biggest ex-military vehicle get-together in the country. Locations are the Ball Park Caravan Park plus the local showgrounds. Includes a swap meet.

Can Cruise

Cudgegong Cruisers Inc. in conjunction with volunteers from Can Assist – Mudgee & Districts Branch will be holding the annual Can Cruise, a major fundraiser. Open to any type of vehicle – muscle cars, hot rods, utes, customs, vintage, veteran, bikes, anything that is registered. Starts at Mudgee Showgrounds.

Cambden Car Show

The Camden Car Show is being hosted by the ‘55 ’56 ’57 Chevrolet Club and at the Camden Showgrounds. Open to all makes of classics, customs, rods, bikes and street machines. Live music, food stall and family fun day. Supporting RSAC.

Big show for cars and motorcycles at the Orange Showground. Pretty much any interesting vehicle is covered.

DLRA Speed Week

Annual get-together for the optimists of this world. Held at Lake Gairdner. Spectators welcome, but you need to be self-sufficient.

All Japanese Car & Bike Show

Probably the best example of minimalism in show organisation we’ve ever seen. It happens on the lawns of Parliament House in Hobart. The organisers assure us entry is free and there are no forms to fill out.

Donations welcome in support of the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Gilman Speedway on Wilkins Rd, Gilman. Relive the glory days with live and static shows covering pretty much every class imaginable, including cars and bikes. Run by the South Australian Vintage Speedcar Assn.

Copper Coast Cavalcade

Largest regional rally in SA for cars up to and Including 1985. Following breakfast assembly, the cavalcade tours Wallaroo, Moonta and Kadina, watched by thousands along the roads and finishes at the Kadina Oval. Over 500 cars attend this major event of the Copper Coast Cornish Festival.
