1965 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE

Plymouth Belvedere I Super Stock. Plymouth produced 101 A990 Super Stock cars which were sold to Race Teams on a register. This car retains a tag (with special order number in the engine bay), identification tag on drivers side pillar, date coded 9th month 1964 Super Stock A990 426 race engine (only 202 engines built in 1964). Car shipping date was December 1964.

Compliance tag with special order number listed in Darrell Daviss 1965 Plymouth Super Commando Guide/ Listed in Darrell Daviss 64-65 Hemi Serial Number Book and supplied with sale.
Tan Interior/ Era- correct white paint.

Era-correct American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels (12-inch width rear).
Genuine A990 Alcoa aluminium heads, priceless magnesium cross ram manifold with correct Holley A990 carburetors and linkages. Genuine A990 NOS ignition leads, distributor, coil, and fuel pump. Engine has all genuine NOS replacement parts and was reconditioned to factory specs by Ray Barton with receipts. Rated at 425 hp and 490 ft-lbs of torque but well-known fact to have a lot more.
Correct and original A990 extractors with lay pipes, (impossible to get).
Correct date coded 8 ¾ with 32 spline axles and correct A990 Chrysler staggered rear springs. Comes with original A990 Tail shaft (car has upgraded tail shaft with 1350 unis for safety).
Side windows and rear window genuine date coded NOS corning glass.
Refurbished A990 Mopar Super Stock battery which locates in the boot.
Other features include genuine A990 park delete reverse pattern steering column and steering wheel and a single windscreen wiper. The interior was stripped of anything that didnt need to go for the ride from factory. The rear seat, heater, radio was deleted, and the front bucket seat were 2 x A100 Dodge seats (with 2 sets of lightweight aluminium frames for tall and short). Also comes with original front steel rims and front tyres, correct rear steel rims with M/T Slicks (not to be driven on) to show the car with. A spare front windshield, date coded corning glass which were bought from Mr. Norm and a lot more spares come with the sale.
