Only available due to a change of the previous owner's circumstances, we have the pleasure of offering this truly delightful car again. Fully restored by a former enthusiastic engineer owner, the car remains in virtually 'as new' condition having had almost every component renewed or reconditioned. As you would expect, it drives superbly with a lively engine, overdrive gearbox and an effective heater making it ideal for blasting around country lanes. This glorious B started life in New York City but was repatriated recently and has been totally restored using new Heritage panels where needed, the body has been stripped back to bare metal throughout and expertly repainted. Panel fit is to a high standard and is complimented by a smooth even paint finish with a deep gloss, apparently painted at the Aston Martin works. As the pictures show, great attention has been paid to detail when restoring the mechanical components which add up to a great driving experience. The accompanying file of associated invoices reveals a strip down and reconditioning of all major components including an engine rebuild. Difficult to fault, the overall impression is of a virtually new car, all fixtures are in fine order with excellent chrome and all of the features of these early cars are in tact. The overall impression is again of a nearly new car with new leather seat coverings, reconditioned dashboard with correct dials, badges and handles. This is a truly stunning car and offered at a fraction of the cost to replicate. With values of MGA models now regularly reaching 40K, these early MGBs are exceptional value and whilst offering a similar driving experience offer a degree of additional refinement. An investment that will offer its new owner the opportunity to fully enjoy the classic driving experience. If you are going to use your MGB for everyday use, for competition, or your current gearbox is giving you trouble then our Mazda gearbox conversion might be an ideal solution for you. When you own a classic car knowing where to get the best spare parts is crucial. We have a dedicated Parts Manager who will track down the best quality and hardest to find part for your car, we like to call this Automotive Archaeology, if it's available ... we will find it. Classic cars are special, and we can provide MOT testing for yours. We clean and air dry the underside of your cherished classic and treat with a choice of clear or black waxoyl. If you need to store your classic car for a short period or more long term, wouldn't it be reassuring to know that it was being stored by a highly skilled professional team who love their work?; When your car is with us we have a wide selection of courtesy cars for you to use.
