SOLD: A wonderful rust-free Eunos Roadster, Watanabe alloys, just 29k miles.

14-inch Watanabe alloy wheels, MeisterR coilover sports suspension, Front splitter, Limited slip differential, Sports exhaust, Nardi leather steering wheel, Nardi gear knob, Mohair hood with heated glass window, Airbag, Clarion CD player with AUX input, Air conditioning, Original Eunos Roadster mats, Interior light, Interior torsion bar, Spare wheel, Power steering, Lockable glove compartment.

Used sparingly on unsalted roads up until its recent import, this handsome Eunos Roadster remains in particularly sharp rust-free condition, the underside notably immaculate. The metallic silver paintwork is almost entirely original throughout and retains a superb finish with few blemishes to be found.

On closer inspection all the trim presents in fine order and the light clusters are free from any cracks or moisture. The car also boasts an attractive front splitter and a pristine mohair hood with no tears or damage to report; the hood is equipped with a heated glass window for those chilly winter mornings. The rear fog light, a UK necessity that usually gets hung below the bumper, has replaced one of the reverse lights for a much cleaner aesthetic.

The classic Mazda cloth interior (NA3) is in exceptional condition showing minimal wear to the bolsters or seat bases. It still appears fresh despite being twenty years old, with both seats feeling especially comfortable and supportive. The dashboard is free from the usual sun damage and all the switchgear remains solid to operate. The carpets are also in fine condition and are protected in the footwells by some lovely period Eunos Roadster overcast.

The peppy 1.8 inline-4 engine is in fine order and fires quickly into life, idling up to temperature with ease. Under the bonnet is a very presentable engine bay displaying no signs of corrosion or accident damage. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox, which is a pleasure to operate and still feels precise through the gears.

The Roadster sits on a pristine set of 14-inch Watanabe wheels with anthracite centres and unmarked satin rims. They sport the correct Watanabe centre caps and are formed from aluminium rather than magnesium, making them much more suitable for UK road use. The alloys are shod in a set of good quality tyres all round with ample tread remaining. MeisterR coilovers ensure the Eunos sits just right and handles perfectly.

The Eunos was first registered in March 1996. It remained on Japan's salt-free roads until 2016 when it was imported into the UK by 4 Star. Upon arrival it was found to be a particularly clean example, and as a keen Mk1 MX-5 enthusiast the Boss decided to hold on to it as part of his own collection. It soon received a few period upgrades including lightweight Watanabe wheels, lowered coil-over suspension, and a sports exhaust. Fully UK-registered with just one keeper on the V5, the car is available for sale once again.
