EQUIPMENT
Electric folding soft-top, Electric windows, Electrically adjustable door mirrors, Air conditioning, Heated leather seats, Cruise control, Sony radio/cassette, CD changer, Lockable glove compartment with vanity mirror, Lockable stowage compartment, Contrasting pinstripe, Front fog lamps, Cigar lighter, Ash trays, Spare wheel, Toolkit.

EXTERIOR
The XJS is finished in a glossy coat of dark metallic blue. The paintwork is presentable throughout and displays a sharp metallic flake on close inspection. The bodywork is complemented by the classic red and grey pinstripe, which helps to accentuate the car's sleek aesthetic. There are just a handful of small blemishes to note overall, with the brightwork remaining largely in fine order. Undoubtedly the XJS looks finest with its roof down, though it can be raised quickly at the touch of a button.

INTERIOR
The elegant interior looks marvelous with walnut trim adorning the centre console, dashboard fascia, and door panels. The polished veneer is in fine order throughout with no significant marking. The supple Doeskin leather is in equally good form, and has worn well over the last 27 years. There are no unsightly rips or marks to the seats, which are also heated for those chillier Sunday drives. The carpets present in good order too, and the steering wheel maintains a nice textured finish.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 5.3-litre V12 idles smoothly and delivers power through the gears with ease. The driving experience is undeniably refined and is accompanied by a deep V12 murmur upon acceleration. Benefiting from a recent mechanical re-commissioning the XJS performs well, and has been freshly serviced for the new keeper's peace of mind.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The car sits on the original set of cross-spoke alloys, with a matching spare present and correct in the boot. The wheels are in good shape all round with no curb marking to speak of, although a little age-related patina is present. They are shod in a brand new set of tyres with absolutely no wear.

HISTORY FILE
The XJS was first registered on 16th August 1989 and was supplied new by Exclusiv-Automobile, Germany. It was then exported to Japan where it remained until very recently. The car has now been imported by 4 Star with all duties and taxes paid on entry into the UK. The XJS is present with its dealer-supplied document pack, owner's manual, and service booklet.

Since arriving at 4 Star the car has undergone a £3k re-commissioning to ensure it is mechanically up to scratch. Detailed invoices are present for the work carried out, which also includes a full service. The car is now complete with an MOT until September 2017; UK registration is currently underway.
