This is quite a rare vehicle, there are only a handful of '37 coupes registered in NZ.
NZ new, first registered in June 1937, this vehicle has never had a lapsed registration and only a handful owners in 88 years.
Purchased in the early 1990s in excellent original condition, free of rust and panel damage and with all the paperwork from the date of first purchase included, it was fully restored as a ground-up rebuild to the immaculate finish by myself & my father.
Rebuilt entirely to spec. Repainted from a rust-free car. Dash & scutcheons re-painted wood grain as per original finish. Fully reupholstered to the original pattern in cloth. Re-chromed. Engine rebored, white metalled, fully reconditioned. Gearbox overhauled. New clutch. New front kingpins. Complete brake overhaul. Mileage is original - it has only had limited use in the 30+ years we have owned & enjoyed it. Regularly service by our own garage, Old School Mechanical Arrowtown Ltd.
