With the end of GMH and the Commodore nearing it's final bow, the designers got to work and upped the ante on the tried and true Aussie icon SS Commodore. 

Under the bonnet the SS-V gets the same 6.2 litre LS3 engine producing a hearty 304kW of power and a thumping 570Nm of torque. Plus a bi-modal exhaust that makes this naturally aspirated V8 Commodore sound like an old school V8 muscle car. All good for a 0-100km/h dash within 4.9 seconds and 13.4 seconds over a quarter mile.

On the inside, the SS-V gets plush leather body hugging seats, a chunky sport steering wheel, blind-spot monitoring, head-up display and Holden's MyLink infotainment system. The owner dealer optioned the SS-V with tinted windows and floor mats.

The tyres are the original Bridgestone Potenza 245mm wide with 19-inch alloy wheels on the front and a wider 275mm wide set with 19-inch alloy wheels on the rear. And in the boot is a full sized never used spare, factory tools and a GMH rubber boot liner.
