Description
This early 1965 is an original A code higher horsepower Pre GT the grandfather of the GT. Almost everything was replaced with new parts, inside and out in 2020 and resprayed in a shade of blue very close to its original hue of Caspian Blue, but this shade pops a bit more. Many upgrades to a mild Pro Street look with cool stuff like big 17 wheels, halogen LED style headlights, de-badged, Shelby Grill, ProCar Seats, Tinted windows and fully blacked out chrome. Very nimble with a mild cam and a very satisfying experience behind the wheel. The interior is beautiful and a wonderful place to spend time in the side bolstered high backed sports seats. Everything mechanical works. It steers, stops and shifts perfectly, better than stock. Gear ratio and spacing is excellent with a nice 1st gear that isn't too short or long, so by time you're in 5th and cruising on the highway the revs drop right down. The car benefits from electronic ignition and automatic choke and it doesn't overheat on hot days. Recently benefitted from $9,000 maintenance and service work. A blank canvas if you want to add GT stripes and decals down the middle and sides, easily attainable decal sets or keep the clean uncluttered look, up to you.
