1967 FORD MUSTANG GT

This Mustang GT Convertible was specified from the factory with the rare and desirable GT Equipment Group package, this example features front fog lamps, power assisted front disc brakes, racing side stripes, and heavy-duty suspension with stiffer springs, larger shock absorbers, LSD, and a larger front stabiliser bar.

Now presented with an attractive blue paint scheme, featuring a contrasting white vinyl roof and white side decals, over a black vinyl-trimmed interior, featuring brushed metal inlays and chrome trim highlights.

It rides on an aftermarket set of 17-inch Legendary LW20 machined alloy wheels with charcoal accents, fitted with mixed white wall tyres.

This example has been fitted with a wood-rimmed steering wheel, an aftermarket GT-style fuel filler cap, LED running lights, indicators and tail lights, HiD headlights, a Sony AX8000 9-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a reversing camera, a seven-speaker Alpine sound system, a Pioneer boot-mounted subwoofer with amplifier, an aftermarket centre console, a GPS tracker, custom Hurricane long-tube headers, a 2.5-inch exhaust H-pipe, a Holley Sniper EFI with Hyperspark distributor, 4-inch digital dashboard display with USB PC tuning cable, and a digital speedometer.

The aftermarket 351-cubic inch V8 has been fitted with an Edelbrock Air Gap intake manifold, a Holley Sniper EFI, Holley in-tank fuel pump, an Aeroflow filter, a six-blade fan, a 20-inch radiator, Ford Racing rocker covers, and MSD HT leads.
Further upgrades include a 140-amp alternator, power brakes, four-piston front brake callipers over discs, braided brake lines, Borgeson power steering, a Monte Carlo bar, an Exedy heavy-duty clutch and pressure plate, a Malwood underdash hydraulic clutch master cylinder / clutch pedal, an Ace hydraulic throw-out bearing, a Yella Terra lightened flywheel, refreshed electronics, and all ARP pro bolts.

The car comes with a spare wheel, a fire extinguisher, an extensive collection of spare parts including bumpers, mouldings, a fuel pump, a spare long clutch, FOMOCO flywheel and more, as well as the import certificate, a large collection of invoices for work done to the car, two sets of keys, and an official Deluxe Marti report.

The interior has been retrimmed, the carpet has been redone, a deluxe dashboard has been fitted, new door panels have been installed, all new metal trims and mouldings were fitted, and a custom centre console was installed. All mechanical work was conducted by certified mechanics specialising in their field of expertise.

The car is rust-free thanks to extensive restoration and preventative measures including the undercarriage being sprayed with KBS Coatings.
