1970 FORD FALCON GT REPLICA XY

A complete nut and bolt restoration. Everything on the car is brand new. No expense was spared when building this amazing car. This car can be used for multiple purposes. You can take it out once a month for cruises and nice Sunday drives. This car can be used for motorsport events if you wanted to such as hillclimbs, circuit racing etc. You can take it to car shows and enjoy the attention this car attracts. The sound of this XY Phase 3 GT tribute is just tuff. A huge record of receipts from this build which will go to the new owner showing an almost endless number of brand-new parts that have been fitted to this car during the restoration. A complete in an out respray in none than Vermillion Fire was carried out with correct blackouts and striping together with all other GT accessories like GT rear vision mirrors, aluminium Shaker, GT spotlights, front spoiler and of course GT style five slot wheels with period correct Aquatread red wall tyres. All new bumper bars, mouldings and badges have been fitted too. This car is simply brand new! Nothing has been missed on the interior either and again brand-new items have been fitted from top to bottom to perfectly replicate the almighty Ford Falcon XYGTHO. Naturally the engine is a 351 Cleveland that houses a steel crank, forged pistons, ACL rings and bearings, solid camshaft, Crane solid lifters, roller rockers, Barry Grant 750cfm double pumper carbie and the list goes on. The rest of the driveline consists of a Top Loader manual gearbox with all new componentry, a custom-made Driveline Services larger style tail shaft and a Ford 9 diff. The steering, braking and suspension are brand new too with the addition of electric style power steering for added driving pleasure. This is a very special XY GT Phase 3 tribute, a lot of attention to detail has gone into this car. It sounds, stops, handles, rides and goes much faster than an original car.
